April 29, 2006 I “slept” in Pioneer Courthouse Square, downtown Portland for Invisible Children’s Global Night Commute. Amber, Bj and I hung out for several hours—we had every intension to make the cold brick our slumber, but ended up packing up our sleeping bags to catch the last Max train. Why? Because it was an intoxicating conglomeration of everything that can be smoked, and this girl is allergic to cigarette smoke. What’s important is that we were there and left a piece of our hearts in Africa. Which is where that piece still lives—on the shoulder of one of the Invisible Children.
JOSEPH KONY IS ONE OF THE WORLD’S WORST WAR CRIMINALS AND I SUPPORT THE INTERNATIONAL EFFORT TO ARREST HIM, DISARM THE LRA AND BRING THE CHILD SOLDIERS HOME.
